Hello friends 😊
I know some of you have noticed that my blog has been missing for the past week, while I was also taking a break from social media.
Sometimes it's good to step away, turn it all off and think about what and where you want to spend your time and energy. That's what I've been doing lately.
With all the noise in the world, I want to write things that matter. Things that are worth other people's time, as well as mine.
With that said...I've been cleaning up some of my old posts, deleting some that don't need to be here and will probably delete more in the future.
I'm not really one to look back on what I did from year to year. I'm more of a write from the heart, in the moment, so if I'm going to collect stories, that's what I have to share in this space.
I hope you won't mind that things might look different. And some days they may look just the same 😊
Either way...as always...I'm glad to be here.

DeleteI feel the same. So much noise right now! It feels overwhelming. I try to remain away from all of it and keep focused on God but sometimes the noise still tries to get in the way.

DeleteTotally understand all that...but super glad you are back. When you are away, your blog gives a message "only those invited allowed." Well, something like that. My fourteen year self felt so sad to be uninvited - LOL Hope the quiet was a blessing!!
ReplyDeleteJennifer, this gave me a laugh :) I totally get it! The only way to put a pause on the blog while editing, etc. is to make it private in that way. They need better options!
DeleteHi Debbie :) I am so happy you are here and I love you blog updates. Your header is adorable. There is SO much noise right now in the world that it's exhausting. I have been digging into the 1930's and 40's lately with reading and just researching things I find here and there and even though those days were not easy for them, our grandparents and parents generation there was such a positive energy about these people. Its contagious and makes me want to somehow take what they did and knew and apply it to these days of my life. If that makes sense. Love catchin up with you.
ReplyDeleteJoyce, I love reading about past generations and how they walked through life and the challenges. There are so many good shows that I've enjoyed about that too. I think they worked so hard, yet the times did seem simpler in many ways.
