The Winter List - The Perfect Gift for Yourself or a Friend

As some of you may remember, I published this book last spring, but I'm sharing it again, because this is the perfect time to start using it for the upcoming winter.

The book shares the story of the year that I began to feel anxious as the darker, winter months approached. I needed something to focus on during those long days, so I came up with the winter list of things to work on around the house, to keep my mind off the darker days. It worked so well, that I practiced this every year after that until I no longer dreaded the winter months.

I go into more detail in the book and I've included plenty of space for writing out your projects and fun ideas for staying busy during the cold months.

If you or someone you know struggles with the long, dark days of winter, this book would make a great tool and now is the perfect time to start compiling the list.

Right now Amazon has them for $5.99, so it would make the perfect gift, priced just right.

To purchase, click HERE or find the book on the sidebar of the blog and it will take you directly to the book on Amazon.

I hope you all have a great weekend! See you soon.

Until Next Time...

Blessings!

  2. I did not know you had published a book! What a great idea!

My husband's job moved us to Seattle many years ago. The year-round cloudiness and rain led me to discover that I don't do well without the sunshine. We had been in our house 3 weeks before the sun came out for the first time. Sun rays poked through the thick forest of trees behind our house, casting their light onto our dining room wall. When I saw that, I literally cried for joy.

Since then, I have been blessed to live in more sunny climates and it's not been much of a problem. But occasionally when we have a string of cloudy days, I'll feel myself getting down. I remind myself all is well and that just above that blanket of clouds is the brilliant sunshine.

As you indicate with your book description, having some concrete plans in mind to help survive, distract and accomplish meaningful projects -- that's a great way to handle those long dark days of winter.

    1. Hi Barbara! Yes, I have published several books and you can find them on the sidebar of my blog (and Amazon). Even though we are in the south, with plenty of sunshine, the short, dark days of winter can still have that effect, so it's definitely good to have a plan in place.
